The Community Development and Integration Center (CDIC) is a nonprofit, non-partisan, and non-religious community organization based in Quebec. CDIC works to promote community development, inclusion, integration, participation, and access to appropriate community resources.
CDIC's mission is to strengthen communities by supporting integration, inclusion, participation, and community development while helping individuals and families identify appropriate resources and opportunities.
Newcomers, immigrants, refugees, families, youth, seniors, established residents, and other eligible community members may apply for CDIC membership.
Membership allows CDIC to better understand your circumstances and needs and to determine what type of support, information, resources, activities, or referrals may be appropriate for you.
Yes. Membership is the first step for individuals who wish to request CDIC services or support. Membership allows CDIC to establish a relationship with the community member and better understand their needs.
No. Membership does not guarantee the provision of any particular service. CDIC will assess each request according to the member's circumstances, needs, eligibility where applicable, the level of community demand, available resources, organizational capacity, and the nature of the requested service.
CDIC considers the member's needs together with the type of assistance requested, the availability of appropriate resources, the organization's capacity, current demand for the service, and other relevant circumstances. Based on this assessment, CDIC may provide the service, offer another form of support, or refer the member to an appropriate external resource.
If CDIC determines that it cannot reasonably provide the requested service, CDIC may, where appropriate, provide information, suggest alternative resources, or refer the member to one of its partners or another organization that may be better positioned to assist.
No. CDIC does not guarantee that every requested service will be available or provided. Services depend on the member's needs, CDIC's mandate, available resources, organizational capacity, community demand, and other applicable considerations.
Yes. Programs and services may change depending on community needs, participation levels, funding, resources, organizational capacity, partnerships, and other circumstances. CDIC may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue a service when appropriate.

CDIC's policies explain the rights and responsibilities of members, the conditions of membership, the use and protection of personal information, the limitations of CDIC services, and other important requirements. Understanding these policies helps ensure that applicants make an informed decision before joining.
By applying for membership, you confirm that you have reviewed and understood the applicable CDIC membership requirements, policies, terms, privacy provisions, and conditions and agree to comply with them.
CDIC's applicable policies and terms are available through the CDIC website. Applicants should review them before submitting a membership application.
If you have questions about a policy or membership condition, you should contact CDIC for clarification before completing your membership application.
