The Community Development and Integration Center (CDIC) is a Quebec-based, incorporated non-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and social exclusion, promoting social and cultural inclusion, supporting the integration of newcomers, and strengthening inclusive, resilient, and engaged communities. Operating on a non-partisan, non-religious, and community-driven basis, CDIC serves the community as a whole—including newcomers, immigrants, refugees, established residents, individuals, families, youth, and seniors—through accessible educational, cultural, social, settlement, and community development programs and services. CDIC promotes civic participation, volunteerism, French-language learning, community engagement, and equitable access to resources and opportunities, while providing objective civic and governance education to help community members understand public institutions, democratic processes, and their rights and responsibilities and to make informed and independent decisions. Through collaboration and strategic partnerships with public institutions, community organizations, educational institutions, and local stakeholders, CDIC works to strengthen social cohesion, community capacity, and the social, cultural, and economic well-being of the communities it serves. Incorporated under Part III of the Quebec Companies Act, CDIC is committed to operating with transparency, accountability, integrity, accessibility, and respect for applicable laws and regulations, and to delivering programs and services that contribute to sustainable and inclusive community development.
